Jacklyn Elaine (Borst) Rimkus passed peacefully surrounded by her family on November 14, 2024. She was born to her late parents Earl and Betty (Wiley) Borst on March 22, 1948, in Allegan, Michigan. Jackie would meet her husband Richard Rimkus and share over 40 years of faithful marriage together.

Jackie worked at the Treasurer's Office for Allegan County as the Deputy Treasurer for many years. One of her favorite past times was visiting the Casinos, especially in Manistee, with her husband, her daughter, and friends. She also loved taking a special trip annually in the fall, to the Mackinaw Bridge where she made many memories.  She also enjoyed trips up north to go side by side riding with her husband, daughter and son-in-law. Jackie cared deeply for her family, lifelong friends, and co-workers. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spoke of them often. She enjoyed good conversation over coffee with family and friends.  In her younger years she enjoyed going to the beach, especially in Ludington, riding her Harley and selling MaryKay.  Jackie leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, a strong spirit and loyalty for her family to carry on.

She is survived by her Husband Richard Rimkus; children Erica (Ted) Stender, Justin Oram, Betty (Bud) Randall, Mary Lechman, Sue (Matt) Harmelink; grandchildren Seth Stender, Grant Stender, Elli Stender, Adrian (Andis) Weeldreyer, Christine (Christopher) DeKryger, Elizabeth (Drew) Nesbitt, Jacob Randall, Nicole (Tyler) Stariha, Jessica Fields, Jennifer (Andrew) Lopresti, Michael (Brooke) Carney, Joseph (Alicia) Carney, and Sarah Harmelink; 12 great-grandchildren and many more dear friends and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Betty (Wiley) Borst; her brother Roger Borst, and son-in-law Mike Lechman.

Jacklyn's Funeral Service will be at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 11:00am with an hour's visitation beforehand. Interment to follow at Earl Cemetery in Gobles. Luncheon details are to be announced after the Funeral Service.
