Jace Elias Cornish, October 10, 2026 – Byron Center, MI
Jace Elias Cornish was born on October 10, 2026, into the arms of his loving parents, Joshua and Amelia Cornish. Shortly thereafter, his precious soul was ushered into the eternal home of his loving Creator.
Jace Elias’s name means “The Lord is my salvation” and “Yahweh is my God.” While Joshua and Amelia grieve the brevity of their time with Jace, they rejoice in the eternal power, faithfulness, and goodness of their Lord Jesus Christ, whose great and precious promises are an anchor of the soul (Hebrews 6:18-19).
Jace is survived by his parents (Joshua & Amelia Cornish), his great-grandparents (Scott & Janet Willis; Jerry Cornish; Virginia Putnam), his grandparents (Alan & Amy Moody; Tim & Rebekah Cornish), 23 aunts and uncles, and 18 cousins.
Visitation (3:00 PM) and the Funeral (4:00 PM) will be at Chapel Pointe Church, 6252 Burlingame Ave SW, Byron Center, MI, on Monday, October 19, 2026. A graveside committal will follow at Winegar Cemetery, 9402 Homerich Ave SW, Byron Center. Rev. Keoni Hughes and Pastor Daniel Munden will be officiating.
Gorden Funeral Residence has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the GoFundMe account established to help alleviate medical bills incurred during Jace’s emergency care.
