Allegan, MI, died Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Taylor was born September 7, 1926 in Allegan, the son of Hugh & Beatrice (Clawson) Taylor. He was a member of the Otsego Church of God. He had worked for Wal-Mart for the past 8 years and also volunteered many hours at Metron of Allegan and the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Surviving are his sister, Thelma & Steve Smalla of Allegan; 3 nephews, Bill Jr. & Diana Doest and Ron & Louellen Doest all of Allegan, and Rick & Dawn Doest of Plainwell; 2 nieces, Cindy & Dan Witt of Gobles and Sharon & Bruce Milhiem of Otsego; several great-& great-great nieces & nephews. Friends may meet with the family Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Pastor Timothy Foreman officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Memorials may be made to the Otsego Church of God.
