SMITH, Ivah B. Allegan, MI, formerly of Alamo and Pharr, Texas, passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008 at the Life Care Center of Plainwell. Ivah was born October 11, 1913 in Allegan, the daughter of William and Bertha (Lindsley) Reynolds. She lived in Allegan, Hopkins, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, retiring in Alamo, TX. Surviving are 1 daughter, Betty (Chet) Reimink of Allegan; daughter-in-law, Eileen (Ted) Schwaab of Texas; 3 grandchildren, David (Yvonne) Reimink of Allegan, Doug (Kim) Reimink of Kalamazoo and Scott Smith of Texas; 6 great-grandchildren, Mickey (Danielle) Reimink of Allegan, Thomas (Jenny) Reimink of Zeeland, April Reimink of Allegan, Justin Reimink and Kelly Reimink both of Kalamazoo and Justin Smith of Texas; 5 great-great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kaylynn, Mikayla, Ryder and Asher; 1 nephew, Howard (Jan) Barnes of Bloomingdale. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Henry (Hank) Smith, 2 sons, Ronald and Donald, and a sister, Lydia Barnes Clark. Private graveside services were held at Maplewood Cemetery, Hopkins Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to Life Care Center of Plainwell, (Activity Dept.), 320 Brigham St., Plainwell, MI 49080.
