West Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Allegan, MI, died Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the Joseph L. Morse Geriatric Center, West Palm Beach, FL. Mrs. Smith was born November 12, 1925 in Cicero, IL, the daughter of Charles and Valeria (Gasunas) Petroshus. She was a former member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Allegan and the Ladies Circle. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth; 3 children, Charles and Bunny Smith of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Catherine and William Kocher of Cincinnati, OH, and Gregory Smith of West Palm Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Alice and Jack Smalla and 1 brother, Jerry Petroshus, all of Allegan; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Stanley, Frank and Edward Petroshus and sister-in-law Virginia Petroshus. Friends may meet with the family from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Jerome M. Heyman, O.S.A., Celebrant. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan, MI.
