GUDITH, Idalaine "Ike" Hopkins, MI died Sunday, March 10, 2002 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Mrs. Gudith was born Dec. 5, 1919 in Upton, Wyoming, the daughter of Charles & Golda (Sherwood) Newman. Surviving are her husband, LaVern "Bud"; 1 son & his wife, Bob & Lynn Gudith of Clare; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Lewis & Rita Newman of Gun Lake; 4 sisters, Louise Hoyt of Plainwell, Iva Mol of Grand Rapids, Myra Parmalee of Plainwell, and Lois Gray of Florida, 2 sons- in-law, John Burdick of Delton and Carl Collier of Allegan. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Sharon Burdick & Nancy Collier, 1 grandson, Roger, 1 brother, Carl Newman and 1 sister, Winona Seekman. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 am.
