of Portland, OR, formerly of Allegan, MI, died Monday, May 22, 2006 in Oregon. Mrs. Roosenberg was born June 16, 1926 in Volinia Twp., MI, the daughter of Martin J. and Flossie M. (Hall) Halvorsen. She was a past member of the Pinedale Seventh Day Adventist Church. She had taught school for 20 years at the County Normal, Glenwood, and in the Eau Claire area. Surviving are 3 children and their spouses, Elizabeth and David Willauer of Niles, Roberta and Joseph Mellor of Portland, OR, and Dr. John and Anna Marie Roosenberg of Allegan; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian, in 1995, brother, Hall Halvorsen and sister, Lucille Halvorsen. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Glenwood Seventh Day Adventist Church. Pastor Delmar Austin officiating. Interment Crane Cemetery, Volinia Twp.
