Howard L. Town, 64, of Allegan, Michigan went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Born August 14, 1954 in Otsego, Michigan, Howard was the son of Howard and Mary (Bradley) Town. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. After the military he worked in manufacturing, providing for his wife and family. Howard was a loving husband and father and leaves them with many cherished memories. His wife, Ruth, was the highlight of his life. Howard is survived by his wife, Ruth Town; his children, Betty (Edwin) Kortman and Clayton VanHorn; his six siblings, Gary Town, Butch Town, Bob Town, Alice Town, Janet Town and Sharon Town; five grandchildren, Cotty, Conor, Cole, Jessica and Shawn; and two great-grandchildren, Issac and Carson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mary Town; brothers, David Town and Rich Town; and son, Billy VanHorn. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at which time a funeral service will begin.
