Monterey Twp., MI, died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mr. Teed was born December 18, 1912 in Monterey Twp., the son of William and Lula (Feltenbarger) Teed. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during WWII. He had been employed at General Motors in Grand Rapids for 26 years, retiring in 1974. He was an avid reader of newspapers and magazines and enjoyed having visitors. Surviving are 1 brother, Scott Teed of Monterey Center; 1 sister, Betty Kuzmicz of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther, and 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12 noon at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Mr. Comer Skinner officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp.
