Obituary

Watson Twp., MI, died Sunday, September 24, 2006 at the Laurels of Coldwater. Mr. Perring was born March 9, 1914 in Logan Twp., Michigan, the son of Elmer and Florence (Whitt) Perring. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He worked for Norge Refrigeration in Muskegon for 19 years and for Pet Milk in Wayland for 10 years. Surviving are his wife, Wilma; 3 children, Kay and Paul Wing of Coldwater, Dan and Loretta Kirby of Martin and Judy and Lyle Stuart of Otsego; 19 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; 8 great-great- grandchildren; 2 nephews, Dennis and Rodney Weaver. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Laura, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Friends may meet with the family from 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor William McKay officiating. Military graveside services will take place in Miner Cemetery, Watson Twp. conducted by Otsego VFW Post 3030. Memorials may be made to the Perring family.
