Hope Elaine (Ashley) Myers, 88, of Allegan, MI passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Allegan General Hospital. Born September 7, 1931 in Allegan, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Mildred (Fargo) Ashley. Hope loved genealogy research and had successfully traced her lineage back to the 1400's. She was even able to take a trip to London to visit many of the historical sites that were linked to her family tree. Hope also liked to go to Gun Lake Casino with her sons, Jerry and David, to gamble and eat at the buffet. She loved all animals, though cats were her favorite. Hope is survived by her children, Jerry (Char) Myers, Nancy (Alan) Nusbaum, Kenny Myers, Melinda Myers and David Myers; daughter-in-law, Jacqueline (DeMull) Myers; sister, Nancy (Jim) Page; eleven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Millard "Butch" Myers; and her stepbrother, Roger Brenner.
