Obituary

Lewes, DE, fomerly of Allegan, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008 at his home. Mr. Morgan was born April 15, 1923 in Allegan, the son of the late Thomas and Bernice Morgan. He was a 1940 graduate of Allegan High School and a 1948 graduate of Western Michigan University . Mr. Morgan served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. During his time in Washington, DC, he worked for Congressmen Victor Knox and Edward Hutchison as an administrative assistant for more than 28 years. After retirement, he moved to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Surviving are 2 sisters and 1 brother, Marian Tansky of Logan, OH, Maxine Woodhams and Bernith Morgan, both of Allegan; his life companion, Thomas P. Angelo, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may meet with the family from 10 a.m. Saturday at the Merson Church until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Church. Pastor Gail Pike officiating. Interment Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp. Services were also held in Rehoboth Beach, DE, Wednesday, April 23. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Merson Church. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
