Hildred Cardiff, Hopkins, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at her home in Watson Twp. Mrs. Cardiff was born August 30, 1931 in Blendon Twp. the daughter of William & Jennie (Haveman) Styf. Hildred was a member of the Martin Reformed Church. She had worked at Kesslers in Wayland for almost 30 years. Surviving are her 4 children, Cindy & Gary Meyer of Wyoming, Scott, Jack and Mike Dekker all of Hopkins, 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, 2 brothers, John Styf of Sand Lake and Wayne Styf of Kentwood, 2 sisters, Evelyn Beute of Jenison and Jean Shaw of Kalamazoo, her sister in law Ida Styf of Jenison, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Harold Dekker and her 2nd husband Billy Cardiff and her brother Art. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 10-12 noon at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 12 noon. Pastor Richard Davis from the Martin Reformed Church will officiate. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp.
