Redder, Hilda A., Hudsonville, formerly of Hopkins, died Friday, October 24, 2003, in Zeeland. Mrs. Redder was born January 21, 1910, in Hopkins, the daughter of Henry & Elfrida (Puschel) Schafer. Surviving are her daughter, Elma Sterk of Hudsonville, 2 grandchildren, Kabet Sterk of Hudsonville and Kimmi Sterk of Holland, 1 great granddaughter, Tallon, 1 brother, Milton Schafer of Allegan, 2 sisters, Emma Essenburgh of Allegan and Ermah & LaVerne Timmerman of Allegan, several nieces & nephews. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, brother, Herman, 2 sisters in law, Joyce Schafer & Ila Schafer and 1 brother in law Harold Essenburgh. Friends may meet with the family at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com, Monday at 2 pm until service time at 3 pm. Pastor John Zwyghuizen will officiate. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Memorials may be made to the Heritage Healthcare Centre.
