of Allegan, died Monday, June 15, 2015, at the Allegan Country Estates. Hank was born March 26, 1923, in Shenandoah, PA, the son of the late Alex and Ida (Staransky) Polityka. He was in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. He worked for over 40 years at Rockwell, and was a past chaplain in the Elks Lodge in Allegan. He was also known around the Allegan area for his painting skills: signs, cars, and posters were all part of his trade. Surviving are his wife: Hazel; 2 children: Karen and Don Henning, Lisa and Gus Wilhelm; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his 4 brothers: Alex, Joseph, Paul, and Leo. Friends may meet the family on Saturday, June 20, 2015, from 1-3 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. There will not be a funeral service. Memorials may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice.
