Henry Reurink, Jr., 80, of Shelbyville, MI, died Monday, January 5, 2004. Mr. Reurink was born June 23, 1923 in Sanborn, IA, the son of Henry and Gertie (Van Renselaar) Reurink. He retired, after 50 years, as a tool grinder at General Motors. He was a veteran of WWII and had been a member of the Masons. Surviving are 4 children and their spouses, Richard and Mary Reurink of Middleville, Mary and Michael Poeller of Battle Creek, Jane and Kenneth Worstell of Otsego, and Susan and Jim King of Hastings; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 brother and his wife, John and Clarissa Reurink of Wayland; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Charlotte, son, Hank, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Cremation has taken place. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date in South Martin Cemetery, Martin, MI. Arrangements by Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel.
