of Gobles, formerly of Otsego, died Sunday, September 2, 2012, at his home in Bloomingdale Twp., just 1 week after his wife, Virginia died. Henry was born July 2, 1931, in Irving Twp, the son of Julius and Vada (Allen) Crans. Henry was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean Conflict. He worked at Parker Hannifen in Otsego from 1972 until he retired in 1987. And then he and his wife ran a home rental business together for many years. Surviving are his 3 children; Ron and Kate Crans, Linda and Carl Price, Rose and Ernie Matthews, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, 3 brothers; Robert and Pat, David and Cathy, Gene and Sondra, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, and his brother, Claude. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, September 7, from 12 noon till service time at 2 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Edward Mohr will officiate. Interment Robinson Cemetery, Bloomingdale Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wings Home, Allegan.
