of Allegan, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Whisler was born October 6, 1925, in Deerbrook, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late William and May Lily (Newman) Lynn. Helen married Bernith Whisler on August 21, 1946, and together they shared a love for dancing, camping, card parties and entertaining in their home. Helen was a 4H leader and enjoyed sewing and crafts. She attended Merson Church for many years. Helen is survived by her three children: Bonnie Woodhams, Susan Hunsberger, Bernie and Dianne Whisler; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one brother: Carl Lynn; one sister: Doris Buhler; one brother-in-law: Max Whisler; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernith; son in law: Douglas Woodhams; one brother: Ralph Lynn; four sisters: Nellie Kerber, Grace Withrow, Blanche Kenbeck and Clara Wiltse. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10 am until the service begins at 11 am at Merson Church, Pastor Norman Byers officiating. Interment will take place at Mallory Cemetery.
