Monterey Twp., Hopkins, MI, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Vander Werf was born Nov. 22, 1914 in Cedar Springs, the daughter of Joel and Bessie (Baldwin) Cram. Surviving are 4 children and their spouses, William Vander Werf of Hopkins, Larry and Angela Vander Werf of Ohio, Russel and Sandy Vander Werf of Jenison and Elizabeth and Clarence Tolhurst of Bradley; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 1982; 1 granddaughter and 10 brothers and sisters. Friends may meet with the family from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Mr. Trayton Lull officiating.
