Allegan Twp., MI, died Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Mrs. Dziekan was born August 6, 1925 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Wrobel) Maciaszek. She was a 50-year member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Allegan. Surviving are 5 children, Daniel and Becky Dziekan of Ohio, Ronald Dziekan of Allegan, Diane and John Julien of Paw Paw, Robert Dziekan, and Linda Butler, both of Allegan; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Hank Maciaszek of Washington; 1 sister, Irene Marcinek of Iowa; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Casimir "Casey" in 1999, 1 sister, Marian, and 2 brothers, Ted and Greg. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com, where the Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Jerome M. Heyman, O.S.A., Celebrant. Interment will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, at 3 p.m. Friday. Contributions may be made to the Church.
