Obituary

MUENZER, Harold Sun City, AZ, formerly of Cheshire Twp., Allegan, died Tuesday, March 12, 2002 in Arizona. Mr. Muenzer was born March 22, 1914 in Chicago, the son of Arno and Frieda (Findiesen) Muenzer. Mr. Muenzer moved from Chicago to Cheshire Twp. in 1947, where he established Independent Tool and Mfg. Co. in 1949. He also built and managed Swan Lake Mobile Estates. He has resided in Arizona for the past 25 years. Surviving are 4 sons and their spouses, John and MaryJo of Lansing, Jim and Linda of Allegan, Joe and Margia of North Carolina and Jerry of Bangor; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Alice DeBoer and Ruth Laky both of Illinois and Helen Bolis of Holland; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Emily, of Sun City, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline, brother, Walter, and sister, Violet Priller. Friends may meet with the family from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, and from 12 noon Saturday until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday. Chaplain John Neese officiating. Interment Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bloomingdale Alumni Scholarship Fund or the Senior Olympics.
