Obituary

HUNTER, Harold E. "Bud", Texas, formerly of Allegan, died Friday, March 15, 2002 in Tomball, Texas. Bud was born January 23, 1912 in Allegan, the son of Ernest & Elnora (Smith) Hunter. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and had owned & operated Hunter Shell for over 30 years. Surviving are 2 children & their spouses; Thomas & Maureen Hunter of TX, and June & James Tagg of Alberta, Canada; 4 grandchildren, Michael & Lisa Hunter, Colleen Cook, and Nathaniel & Isaac Tagg, 4 great grandchildren, Ryan, Brock, Meredith and Michaela, 1 brother, Milt & Maggie Hunter of Allegan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beryl and his sister, Blanche Grigsby. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am. Pastor Joseph Phipps officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
