of South Haven, passed away at his home Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Age 80 years. Harold was born August 31, 1930, the son of the late Saunders and Margaret (Diefenbach). He attended the Church of the Branches in Lacota, Michigan. He was married to Ruth Durand on September 12, 1950; she survives him. Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Virginia (Lester) Tesmer of Zeeland and Rebekah (Douglas) Hambley of Pullman; a son, Stephen (Tammy) Hagger of South Haven; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Dan Hagger in 1999; and his sister, Alice Mae Quill. Graveside service will take place 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Oakwood Cemetery in Allegan. Pastor Jeff Stephens and Pastor Scott Krzemen will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice. Arrangements by Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
