Obituary

Allegan, MI, died Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Metron of Allegan. Mr. Gomber was born November 6, 1921 in Summit City, MI, the son of Henry and Myrtle (Albright) Gomber. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII, and was a member of the American Legion Oscar Briggs Post #89. He had been employed with Menasha for 38 years, retiring in the early 1980's. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie; 5 children, Sandy Warner of Wayland, Rex and Charmain Gomber of Allegan, Randy Gomber of Otsego, Julie and Mike Harrington of Wayland and Gary Gomber and Linda Butler of Allegan; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Pat Tank of Mattawan. Mr. Gomber was preceded in death by 1 sister, Pearl Sherwood, 2 brothers, Lyle and Lane and 1 great- granddaughter, Devin. Friends may meet with the family from 11 a.m. Friday until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Paul Hays officiating. Private graveside services will be held Monday at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice
