Monterey Twp., Allegan, MI, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at his home. Mr. Boeve was born October 24, 1922 in Filmore Twp., MI, the son of William M. and Henrietta (Laarman) Boeve. He was a graduate of Grand Haven High School and was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army. He had worked with his father and 4 of his brothers in Boeve Construction Co. and had built and managed Dumont Lake Campground. He had been a member of the Holland and Otsego New Apostolic Church since 1951. Surviving are his wife, Maxine (Lay); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers. Friends may meet with the family from 3:30 p.m. Friday at the New Apostolic Church, Otsego where services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friday. Priest Dennis Smith officiating.
