age 71, of Hilliards, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born February 19, 1942 in Hopkins, Michigan, the daughter of Richard and Alice (Rose) Thompson. Hannah is survived by her husband of 52 years, Deacon Russ; her children: Russ Pogodzinski Jr, Bryan (Bev) Pogodzinski, Michelle (Pogodzinski) North; her grandchildren: Paige, Zane, Brock, Ashley, Cody, Amber; her great-grandchildren: Aidan, Jaxon; her sisters: Peggy Arnsman, Joan Riksen, Marjorie Smith, Katie Peterson, Denise Thompson. Hannah is preceded in death by her brothers Jerry and Junior. Hannah leaves behind many family and friends. She was a member of the St Stanislaus Altar Society. Friends may meet with the family for visitation on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, from 3-5:00 P.M. and 6-8:00 P.M. Rosary will be at 4:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at St Stanislaus Catholic Church, Dorr, at 11:00 A.M. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass. Celebrant is The Reverend Harry Potter. Interment is at St Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Dorr.
