Gregory (Greg) Green went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 29, 2026. He went peacefully from his home in Allegan, MI.

Saved at age eight, led to the Lord by his Dad. Baptized at Green’s Corners Baptist Church by Pastor Grahl.

He was born to his late parents Melvin and Emogene (Parr) Green on December 12, 1952, in Greenville, MI. Greg shared 52 years of marriage with his wife Louise (Freeman) Green. He worked at Amway from January 1974 until July 2013.

Family get togethers and reunions were always a source of joy, catching up on how everyone was doing. Greg especially enjoyed audio books. History was his favorite. In the fall you would find him cheering on the Ohio Buckeyes.

He is survived by his wife Louise and two daughters Jen Lake and Heidi (Steve) Wilson, grandchildren Emily Lake, Eli Lake, Logan (Sadie) Wilson, Madison (Quinn) Bowden, and great granddaughter Lizzy Wilson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Emogene (Parr) Green, sister Penny Green, and son-in-law Sam Lake.

Greg’s “Celebration of Life Service” will be September 5th, 2026 at 11:00 AM, at Merson Church, 3313 102nd Ave., Gobles, MI 49055, with a luncheon following in the fellowship hall.
