Grace Wilma Maskey, 92 of Allegan, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at her home in Allegan. Grace was born August 23, 1928, to Victor and Dorotha (Lipp) Northrup on a farm near Lawrence, Michigan. When she was eight years old, her family moved to Allegan where she went to school, graduating in 1947. In 1946, she married Richard L. Maskey. They had two children, a son, Victor, and a daughter, Georgia. Richard and Grace were married 49 years when Richard passed away. Grace worked 20 years at TruHeat Corporation; one year as a security guard at the Perrigo Company and several years at Flashes Publishing Company as an inserter. She had a lot of animals and loved them all, especially her little dog, Sweetie. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; and siblings, Lila, Edith and Wesley. She is survived by her brother George Northrup: many nieces and nephews. Her son, Victor (Vicki); her daughter, Georgia; six grandchildren and their spouses, Mike (Celina), Rob (Kendra), Jeff (Brooke), Tabitha (John), Alex, and Victor Jr.; 13 great-grandchildren, Rick, Tiffany, Michelle, Bridget, LaDonna, Cody, Austin, Ashley, Briana, Gage, Tegan, Logan, and Serra; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may meet with the family at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, at which time the funeral service will begin. Memorial donations may be made in Grace's name to Wings of Hope Hospice, 530 Linn Street, Allegan, Michigan 49010. Grace will be laid to rest next to her husband, Richard, in Hudson Corners Cemetery.
