of Cheshire Township. Died Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Age 76. He was born April 23, 1935, the son of the late Cecil and Gertrude (Bierow) Noble. He was married to Evelyn Joyce Cleary on September 10, 1955; she survives him. He attended the Christ Community Church in Allegan. He worked as a Tree Foreman for the Allegan County Road Commission for 30 years. Gordon enjoyed family events, tree cutting, puzzle books and country music. Surviving besides his wife are two children, Jeffrey (Christine) Noble of Kalamazoo and Julie Elizabeth Noble of Allegan; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marion Chenoweth of Kalamazoo, Dorothy Burdette of Allegan and Shirley Noble of Bloomingdale; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Delbert Noble and Bernard Noble; and one sister, Elaine Radke. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at Lindsley Cemetery.
