of Hopkins, died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at his home. Mr. Rankens was born August 29, 1922, in Hamilton, MI, the son of Henry and Bessie (Sale) Rankens. Glenn was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during WWII. He worked for over 42 years for Morgan's Appliance in Allegan. Surviving are his 3 children, Dale and Phyllis Rankens of Dorr, Darlene Rankens of Alma and Daryl Rankens of Hopkins, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Alvin, of Imlay City, and 1 sister, Donna Ende, of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leola and his brother, Harvey. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 12 noon until service time at 2 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Pastor Linda Burton from Hopkins United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, Hopkins Twp.
