Obituary

of Allegan, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Borgess Gardens in Kalamazoo. Eleanor was born June 3, 1918, in Martin, the daughter of Stanley and Louise (Noteboom) Brown. She was a life member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Watson. She graduated from Martin High School in 1936. Surviving are her 6 children; Ken and Mary Knuth, Nancy and Roger Hilaski, Daniel and Ginja Knuth, Richard and Nancy Priest, Ronald and Margaret Priest, Melody and Ron Gordon, 24 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren, her brother, Harry Brown, sister-in-law, Bea Brown, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husbands; Elmer Knuth and Donald Priest, 2 brothers; Howard and William, her sister, Mildred McGuire, and her grandson, Brian. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, November 30, from 5-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 5 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Watson, on Saturday at 11 am. Rev. Fr. Harold Potter, Celebrant. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Hopkins Twp. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
