of Hamilton, died, Friday August 6, 2010 at the Brairwood Assisted Living in Allegan. Mrs. Stephens was born September 8, 1919, in Charlevoix, the daughter of Rowley and Florence (Withers) Williams. Geraldine graduated from Charlevoix High School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Allegan. Geraldine and her husband Howard started Creditors Credit Bureau in Allegan in 1962, and have owned and operated since. She was an accomplished painter and artist, a member of the BPW and Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are her 2 step children, Howard Roger and Julie Stephens, and Joyce and Don McCarthy all of Grand Rapids, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard and her sister, Darlene Hisey. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 10am until service time at 11am. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Robert Stover officiating. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church or the Allegan General Hospital Foundation.
