Geraldine Mottor of Allegan Michigan entered her eternal home on April 5, 2022, at Allegan County Medical Care, at the age of 101 and 5 months, where she has resided for the past seven years. Allegan County Medical Care provided wonderful care for their residents with numerous activities and outings until everything was suspended by the worldwide covid outbreak. They also provide wonderful medical care for their residents. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allegan and The Order of Eastern Star. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, traveling, and numerous other activities before going to Allegan County Medical Care. She was born on November 11, 1920, in Allegan Michigan. She attended school in Allegan but spent her final year at Rockford High School where she graduated in 1938. She married her husband Clyde Mottor (of 44 years) in June of 1941. During her lifetime she lived in 15 different cities in 6 different states: Michigan, Ohio, Utah, California, Oregon, and Florida; due to both job relocations and personal choice. She finally returned permanently to Allegan Michigan in 2008. She was preceded in death by her youngest child Susan in 1982; her husband Clyde in 1985; and her parents and all her siblings. She is survived by her son, Clyde Jr. (his wife Judith); her daughter Patricia; four granddaughters Cathleen, Carolyn, Heather, and Theresa; nine great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. There will be a funeral visitation Monday April 11, 2022, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Then, a graveside service only Tuesday April 12, 2022, starting at 1:00pm in Oakwood Cemetery Allegan Michigan. Donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Allegan in lieu of flowers. Service Details.
