Valley Twp., Allegan, Michigan, died Monday, May 9, 2005 at Spectrum Health, Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mrs. DeHaan was born December 9, 1932 in Allegan, the daughter of Gerald and Norma (Emmons) Grigsby. She had a strong love for her children and grandchildren and felt very blessed. She had been a bus driver for the Allegan County Intermediate School District for more than 30 years. Surviving are her husband, George; 7 children, Rodney and Janis DeHaan of Allegan, Randy and Michelle DeHaan of Tennessee, Yvonne and David Reimink, Timothy and Lorraine DeHaan, Michael DeHaan and Sue Sebright, Mark DeHaan and Janice Rice, all of Allegan, and Kathleen and Scott Groenewoud of West Olive; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and their wives, Dale Grigsby of Indiana and Norman and Esther Grigsby of Florida; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Denise DeHaan, in 1994. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Millgrove Cemetery, Valley Twp.
