of Allegan, MI,died Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. Mrs. Blake was born October 15, 1931 in Watson Twp.. the daughter of Clarence and Florence (Blair) Simpson. She graduated from Martin High School in 1949 and had been a member of both the Watson Bible Church and First Baptist Church in Allegan. Surviving are 2 children, Connie and Tim "T.K" Nelson of Washington and Ronald Blake of Hamilton; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Maurice Simpson of Wayland, John Simpson of Kalamazoo and Roger and Jane Simpson of Hopkins; 1 sister, Lorraine and Robert Henry of Kalamazoo; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Clayton and 1 sister, Betty MacDonald. Friends may meet with the family from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am. Ray Brown will officiate. Interment Miner Cemetery, Watson Twp. Memorials may be made to the Watson Bible Church.
