Grand Junction, MI, died Sunday, July 29, 2007 at his home. Mr. Jones was born January 13, 1958 in Niles, MI, the son of Gerald D. and Daisy Mae (Vaughn) Jones. He had served in the U.S. Marines, had worked at Perrigo, and Johnson Control in Holland, and was a counselor at Saginaw and Holland Missions. He loved to work at home around the yard and was a 'Mr. Mom' who loved to stay home and take care of the kids. He enjoyed hunting deer and fishing. Surviving are his wife, Charlene; 4 children, Gerald Jones of Grand Rapids, and Jared, Autumn and Stephanie Jones, all at home. 1 grandson, Jacob; 1 brother, Norman and Sharon Jones of Cutlerville; 4 sisters, Sue Williams of Hudsonville, Norrine Green of Idlewild, Margaret Bluitt of Sparta and LuLouWanna Smith of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Christian Church. Pastor Bill Knapp officiating. Interment at a later date at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
