of Allegan, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015, at Ely Manor and Rehab Center in Allegan. George was born December 14, 1934, in Bennington, Vermont, the son of the late Arnold and Berdeen (Hanson) Sulzener. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School and spent most of his life in lumber sales. George was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Korean War. He is survived by his three sons: Greg Sulzener, Gary and Liz Sulzener, Scott and LuAnn Sulzener; his daughter: Lynn and James Helms; nine grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine and brother, Ron. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. A private graveside service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
