of Allegan, died Monday, September 5, 2011, at the Wings Home in Allegan. Mr. Snyder was born July 21, 1953, in Allegan, the son of William and Charlotte (Gavrun) Snyder. George was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He worked at Mead Paper in Otsego, Polynesian Pool in Grand Rapids, and Collier Potato Farm in Orangeville. Surviving are his 3 children; George and Jenny Snyder, Sheryl and Toby Hammond, William and Amanda Kimble all of Allegan, 8 grandchildren, his mother Charlotte, 4 brothers; Bill and Jan of Iowa, Dave and Cheryl of Hamilton, John and Connie of Allegan, and Tim and Lisa of Plainwell, 2 sisters; Margaret and Ed Mottor of Allegan, and Martha Miller of GA, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, William. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at 1pm, the Watson Bible Church. Pastor Ray Brown will officiate. A private interment will take place at Miner Cemetery, Watson Twp. Memorials may be made to the Wings Home, Allegan, or George's Family, C/O, Sheryl Hammond.
