age 90, of Paw Paw, passed away peacefully at Alamo Nursing Care, Kalamazoo Township on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. He was born October 1, 1923 in Alamo, Michigan, the son of Prokop and Eudokija (Lytwyn) Magierka. George was a World War II Veteran for the United States Army, serving as a truck driver. George was a lifelong resident of Van Buren County. He worked as a truck driver and was a mechanic until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Lois of 66 years, his son Ron, his daughter Margaret, and many extended family members. George is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers and sisters. He will be remembered and missed by family, friends and pets. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Celebration will be announced to family and friends at a later date. Arrangements are being made by Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
