age 75, passed away at his home Sunday, November 16, 2014 from a short battle with cancer. He was born December 24, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of George and Helen (O'Connor) Diem. George was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Allegan, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan Tech in 1963. He had a career of over 30 years working for Litton Industries as a Certified Public Accountant, having retired in 2000 as Director of Internal Audit. George loved playing golf and going on walks on the trails in California with his beloved wife Jean. George just really enjoyed being outdoors. George is survived by his wife Jean; his children: George Jr (Karen) Diem, Stephen (Tina) Diem, James Diem; his grandchildren: Nicole, Heather, Samantha, Jordan; his brother Robert (Betty) Diem; his sister Mary Jo Farmer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may join the family for a Memorial Mass at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Allegan, Michigan. Celebrant is The Reverend Alan P Jorgensen. Inurnment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Parisville, Michigan at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 24, 2014.
