Allegan, MI, went to be with her Lord, Friday, May 12, 2006 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mrs. Palmer was born September 27, 1918 in Allegan, the daughter of Ernest & Vera (Tooker) Farnum. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for more than 60 years. Surviving are her children, Robert & Rebecca Palmer of Olivet and Vicki & Robert Rehkopf of Grand Rapids; 1 granddaughter Angie; her sister, Sally Rimkus and Ben Beck of Tennessee, several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow "Woody", 1 granddaughter Candice Palmer, 2 brothers, Keith & William Farnum. Friends may meet with the family Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor James Turner will officiate. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorials may be made to the Allegan County Medical Care Facility or the First Baptist Church.
