Gary L. Earle, 49 of Allegan, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at his home. Gary was born March 30, 1954 in Plainwell, MI the son of David and Marion (Laughlin) Earle. He was a 1972 graduate of Plainwell High School and was a master truck mechanic and cross country truck driver. He was a farmer and loved woodworking. Surviving are his companion, Kathy Waldon of California; 4 children, Steven & Deanna Earle of Allegan, Todd Earle & Nicole Clark of Battle Creek, Patricia & Eric Byron of Gobles, Kathleen Earle of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren, Skyla, Taryn, Emma, Hunter, Samantha, and Olivia; 1 sister, Sandra & Ray Young of Otsego; 2 brothers, Wayne Earle of White Cloud, Dale & Chris Earle of Shelbyville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Earle. The family will receive friends on Sunday From 3-5 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11am. Pastor G. Patrick White will officiate. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Wings of Hope Hospice.
