of Allegan, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at his home. Mr. Bennett was born March 26, 1941, in Allegan, the son of Marcius and Dorthea Bennett. Garold graduated from Allegan High School in 1960. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for over 37 years for Haworth in Saugatuck, he had a collection of model planes and a train set that occupied a large space in the house. Surviving are his wife, Ann, his 5 children; Dennis, Gary, Raymond, Terri, and Amanda Grey, 6 grandchildren, 1 brother, Robert, his 3 sisters; Beverly Humbert, Jackie Pendowski and Marcelyn Freeman, several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet with the family on Friday for 1 hour prior to service time at 1pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Alvin Lambert will officiate. Private interment Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
