Gabryal Lane Lucas-Schroeder On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, surrounded with his loving family at Mercy Health Saint Mary's Hospital, Gabryal Lane Lucas-Schroeder, 27, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed forever into our memories and our hearts. Born October 21, 1990 in Grand Rapids, he was the son of Mary Louise Lucas and David Dean Schroeder. Gabe was a graduate of Allegan High School. His sudden loss leaves behind an irreplaceable void for everyone who knew him, but also a legacy of inherent kindness, gentleness and joy. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepfather, Louie Cantu; stepmother, Susan Schroeder; sister, Chloe Luedecking and husband Jamie and their children, Finn and Maads; grandparents, Don and Sue Lucas, Roy Schroeder and Thomas Dunning; aunts and uncles, Betsy Lucas, Barry Lucas, Martin Lucas, Michael Lucas, Jessica (Lucas) Hernandez, Nancy Lucas, Marc Schroeder, Abe Dunning, Andy Dunning, Aaron Dunning and Lori Frey; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathy Dunning. Gabe himself was an organ donor and saved the lives of 3 people with his donation.
