Allegan, MI, was called home Thursday, October 19, 2006. Mr. Wilkins was born May 23, 1927 in Stanton, TN, the son of Jesse and Rena Lou (Shaw) Wilkins. He was a veteran of U.S. Army, serving during WWII and Korea. He leaves to survive his children, Sandy Wilkins, Lorice Wilkins, Reda Wilkins, Lisa Wilkins, Freddie Wilkins, Jr. and Tanzania, Freddie Burnette Jr., Marie Callaway Jimison, Louvella Sttits, Nevada B. Brown, Ontario Burnette, Billy West Burnette, Marsiana Burnette, Nazarie Burnette, Equator Burnette, Angel Chapman, Norman Reed, Mary Florence and Billie Ruth; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Friends may meet with the family from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of funeral service at 12 noon Wednesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Freddie's nephew, Pastor Adrian Hall, will officiate. Interment Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp.
