Allegan Twp., MI, died Thursday, June 7, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Ellis was born May 23, 1925 in Allegan, the daughter of Walter and Nina (Bigelow) Bussey. She was a graduate of Allegan High School, class of 1942. She and her husband and owned and operated Homecrest Villa Mobile Home Park from 1976 until the 1990's. Surviving are 5 children, Dale Ellis of California, Dean Ellis of Allegan, Roxann and Jim VanDyke of Missouri, Pat and Nancy Ellis of Allegan and Basil and Nancy Ellis of Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Reva and Bill Hayes and Theo and Ken Plotts, all of Allegan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil, in 1980; 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Louis and Harold Bussey and Thelma Kaylor and Mildred Nash. Friends may meet with the family from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Pastor Robert Pumfery officiating.
