Fred Borst, Allegan, died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital. Mr. Borst was born February 27, 1944 in Allegan, the son of Ernest & Mary (Harrington) Borst. Fred was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam. He worked for Cresent Pipe in Allegan for 15 years and retired from Hayworth in 2001 after 20 years of service. Surviving are his daughter Carol Borst of Holland, 2 grandchildren, Dustin & Bridget, 1 niece, Christina Voss of Bloomingdale. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Statler and 1 niece, Bridget Russell. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm at Millgrove Cemetery, Valley Twp. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
