of Hopkins, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids. Frances was born February 22, 1986, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Carl and Kelly (Compo) Wesaw. Frances was a Tribal Citizen of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi's. She is survived by her fiancee, Glen Bennett, her parents, Carl and Kelly Wesaw, her brothers; David and Heather Marshall, Frank Wesaw Sr., Buster and Brenda Wesaw, Donnie Underwood, Levi Crampton, and Jason Wesaw, her sisters; Carla Steingold, Patty and Jeremy Zerbe, and Tianna Wesaw, her nieces and nephews; Ninmkee, Frank Jr., Elizabeth, Gracie, Caleb, Daniel, Miskomin, Andrew, and Gabriel, and many aunts, uncles, and friends. She was preceded in death by her niece, Reona Zerbe Wesaw, uncle, Daniel Wesaw, 2 aunts; Lois and JoEllen Wesaw, and her grandparents; Martin and Viola Wesaw, and Frank and Viola Compo. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, July 10, from 4-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11 am at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Byron Center. Monsignor William Duncan, Celebrant. Interment Bradley Indian Mission Cemetery, Wayland Twp.
