of Allegan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 8, 2010. Frances was born on November 21, 1941 in Gladwin, Michigan, the daughter of Jesse H. and Rose (Fronefield) Underwood. Graduating from Gladwin High School in 1958, she later attended Spring Arbor University where she received her degree in 1999. Frances also worked at Perrigo for over 30 years, retiring in January of 2010. Surviving are her two children; Vicki and Pastor Paul Knuckles, and Jewell Bazan, all of Allegan, 6 grandchildren; Elijah, Elicia, Rose, Nathan, Aly, and Abby, 1 brother, Sam and Toni Underwood, and several cousins. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday at 11 am for a memorial service held at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Paul Knuckles will officiate.
