Frances C. (Malone) Holmes, 92 of Cutlerville, died Sunday, February 10, 2002 at Spectrum Health Continuing Care Center. Mrs. Holmes was born April 14, 1909 in Hopkins, MI the daughter of Coit and Grace (Duryea) Pease. She was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church and had retired from the John Thomas Batts Company in 1972. Surviving are 5 children, Donald & Joyce Malone, Kenneth & Sandra Malone, Richard & Mary Malone, Donna & Donald Wenger, Frank & Ruth Ann Malone, 1 son-in-law, A. Tubby Dykes, 5 stepchildren, Keith Mead, Raymond Mead, Richard Mead, Madelyn Groesbeck, Juanita Sterling, 17 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren, 1 sister-in-law, Wilma Pease. She was preceded in death by husbands, Francis Malone, Isaac Mead and Hector Holmes, 1 daughter, Patricia Dykes and 3 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where services will be held Thursday 11:00 am. Pastor Bill McKay officiating. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, Hopkins Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carlisle United Methodist Church.
